This event is free, but tickets are required. Each person attending - adults and all children - will need a ticket. Please order your tickets in advance - and bring them with you to the event - as we expect this event to "sell out."  We do NOT expect to have any tickets available at the door the day of the event.

Please note the time printed on your ticket. To prevent over-crowding, no one will be admitted before the time printed on your ticket.

Join SID THE SCIENCE KID for a fun, one-of-a-kind family adventure!

WKNO and Lichterman Nature Center invite you to meet Sid at Lichterman. All you have to do is pick your time, print your tickets and meet us there!

Sid will be at the Nature Center on Saturday, February 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for SID THE SCIENCE KID Discovery Day. Lichterman naturalists will help you explore Lichterman’s exhibit buildings. Sid the Science Kid will be there to make friends and take pictures, plus there will be hands-on indoor activity stations for children and adults to have fun and learn about nature and science together.

We'll have a SID THE SCIENCE KID Discovery Day Little Scientist Journal, plus other goodies for little scientists to take home. The Little Scientist Journal will provide information about exhibits to explore, and locations of activity stations designed to promote collaborative learning between children and adults.
